The Story
My Passion project. I have been involved with the Bubble Foundation since I was 16 years old. Their research has saved lives of babies born without immune systems worldwide and they deserve some help in spreading the word.
I was originally asked to help out with their website and of course I said yes ( I then had to quickly learn the basics of HTML so I could pretend I knew what I was doing... ) From that initial website, I went on to create tickets & flyers for their events, posters, business cards & stationary. During my study of BA Hons Advertising & Design I redesigned their website, branding and logo then developed a great digital & social presence from scratch. That same presence has now seen a campaign reach 188 million people and has won awards for its efforts.
Now even today I'm designing a new website for them with social integration and donations at the heart so that this tiny charity in Newcastle can play with the big names out there like Great Ormond Street.
It's my aim now as Trustee to continue managing their digital platforms and helping them without spending a single penny of their well earned funding. After all, we've seen this is perfectly possible.
